Hi – I’m Duncan, the owner of The Secret Salon. I am a former Royal Navy sailor and completed 25 years service and after leaving I decided to follow a passion and creative ambition to train in in women’s hairdressing. This might have seemed a huge leap for most, but I knew it was what I wanted to do!

After completing a number of comprehensive training programmes which included a 1-2-1 with no other than Liam Gallagher’s hairdresser in Chelmsford, I have turned my passion into a thriving career, working in a number of salons in the West Sussex area.

At the end of 2022, I decided that I’d like to put my own stamp on a hairdressing experience, and open my own purpose built salon – and there The Secret Salon was born!

Based in Ferring, West Sussex, The Secret Salon is a personalised and individual hair experience. I want my customers to feel completely comfortable and relaxed, so there’s only one appointment at a time in the salon, to give you 100% focus and achieve exactly what you want. I am a colour king and specialise in Balayage – it’s one of my absolute favourtie things to do!
